Flavien Prat Sets Single-Season Record with 80th Stakes Victory, Wins Remsen at Aqueduct 

Historic Win: Jockey Flavien Prat won the $250,000 Remsen at Aqueduct, marking his 80th stakes victory of the year. 

New Record: Prat surpassed the previous record of 79 stakes wins set by Irad Ortiz Jr. in 2022. 

Victory by a Nose: Prat guided Poster to a narrow victory by a nose in the 1 1/8 mile Remsen race for 2-year-olds. 

Double Stakes Success: In addition to the Remsen win, Prat also triumphed in the $200,000 Go for Wand with Tizzy in the Sky, securing two graded stakes victories on the day. 

Tying Jerry Bailey's Record: Prat's Remsen win also tied Hall of Fame jockey Jerry Bailey's record of 55 graded stakes wins in a single year, set in 2003. 

Breeders' Cup Classic Victory: Among Prat's significant wins this year was his victory in the prestigious Breeders’ Cup Classic aboard Sierra Leone.
